Sunwest Farm's main business is with floral retailers. Located in Lincoln, NE and serving the surrounding areas, we sell wholesale cut flowers and blooming plants. We have a bouquet department that creates mugs inserts, baskets, and hand-tied bouquets.
Sunwest also has a garden center that is open to the public. During the spring planting months, the public and floral retailers benefit from our large selection of greenhouse bedding plants. During the fall months, we host the all-famous Pumpkin Patch, which is well attended by schools and day care facilities. The Pumpkin Patch also offers weekend activities for families.

- Sunwest requires all their sales representatives to pull their own orders. This has always been our philosophy because we believe that the sales person should see the product they are selling, and this gives them the opportunity to catch any problems before it is packed.
- All our products are treated with preservatives and reverse osmosis water. 90% of our product is hydrated before it goes out to our customers.
- All our roses are cut under water and treatment buckets are thoroughly cleaned weekly.
- Sunwest was the first wholesaler to bring our customers the 13 pack roses.
- Sunwest was also the first wholesaler that paid part of your freight if you shipped ASAP. Our policy has been to give you a $5.00 discount on any order over $200.00 as long as your account is kept current.
- Sunwest was the only wholesaler in this area to be a Rio-Rose Distributor. We were given this privilege because of our high quality standards.
- Sunwest was the first wholesaler to sell custom pack roses to our customers, these being packed exclusively at the farm.
- Sunwest is one of the few suppliers of blooming plants, and you are not required to buy a minimum - plus you can mix and match.
- Sunwest has one of the few full time bouquet departments for wholesale that not only makes fresh hand-tied bouquets, but also creates mug bouquets and basket bouquets.
- Sunwest has its own greenhouse, which allows us to properly care for blooming plants, bedding plants, and garden plants.
- Sunwest grows 13,000 tulips that are used for fresh cut flowers.
- Sunwest was the first to grow Curly Willow, Red Twig Dogwood, and Cranberry Viburnum. We are currently the only wholesaler in the state that still grows them.
- Sunwest grows asparagus, raspberries, bearded iris, daylilies, pumpkins and gourds. Many of our customers purchase these for their businesses and/or personal use.
- Even though Sunwest does not stock supplies, we do have a Syndicate Sales truck that delivers to us monthly. Many of our customers who plan ahead have saved a lot of money by ordering their supply needs in bulk on a monthly basis.
